Policy

We are proud of our products, but continuously strive to develop, and expand the range whilst maintaining strength and durability. We therefore reserve the right to alter specifications without prior notice.

All illustrations and photographs are intended as a representation, and are not binding in detail with regards to finishes, shades and specifications.

Order Acceptance

We will do our utmost to maintain prices shown in this site, however we reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice and confirmation of any new prices will be acknowledged at the time of order. Cancellation of order can only be accepted if written confirmation is received via email within 5 days of receipt of order. Cancellation of special or bespoke products will only be accepted by prior agreement in writing by the Directors of Pedder & Summers Ltd and may be subject to a payment of all costs incurred by the company. By placing an order with Pedder & Summers Ltd the customer acknowledges and accepts our terms and conditions of sale.

Delivery

Delivery and installation is free to specified areas. Please check with our customer services department to confirm your area is in our free zone.

Installation will only take place providing the area is clear of any existing furniture including electrical and / or computer equipment and empty of all personal property. Pedder & Summers Ltd does not take responsibility for any damages caused to property if the working area is not cleared ready for installation.

All goods delivered must be signed for and dated on the date of delivery indicated by the signatory.

Claims for shortages or damage to goods in transit must be made in writing within 3 days of receipt of goods. Claims for damage or shortages can only be accepted when delivery notes are clearly marked “DAMAGED” or “SHORT” by the signatory or a member of Pedder & Summers Ltd staff.

Pedder & Summers Ltd cannot accept responsibility for goods lost or damaged if the signature is illegible.

Pedder & Summers Ltd reserves the right to charge a redelivery cost when a delivery made on a day arranged with the customer has been refused or has not been possible.

Deliveries, which are refused without prior notification, will be subject to a restocking and handling charge.

Payments

Invoice order numbers  Net payment 30 days following the date on invoice, unless other terms are agreed in writing with the Directors of the company. All goods and services will be invoiced showing VAT at the prevailing rate at the date of dispatch. All goods remain the property of Pedder & Summers Ltd until payment is made in full.

General

Pedder & Summers Ltd reserves the right to withdraw or to substitute items specified in the literature without prior notice.

Guarantee

All goods are inspected at the times of dispatch. The products shown are covered by the manufacturers guarantee. Pedder & Summers Ltd will undertake to renew or replace goods or parts where faulty materials or workmanship are proven. Goods are guaranteed providing they are being used for the purpose designed, fair wear and tear excluded.

Products after installation, which are relocated or dismantled and re-assembled, will be subject to inspection prior to any warranty repairs being under taken.

Prices

All prices are correct at the date of publication and are subject to VAT at the current rate.

Specifications

All dimensions are approximate. Whilst every care is taken to ensure their accuracy, Pedder & Summers Ltd cannot be held responsible for errors.

Environment

Pedder & Summers Ltd insists on protecting the environment wherever possible. This includes recycling packaging and sourcing products from sustainable sources.
